Original: TV times have been announced between the California Golden Bears and the USC Trojans. The Bears will have another early afternoon kickoff that will be officially decided next week. It's either noon or 12:30 PM Pacific on Fox or Fox Sports 1.
Quick thoughts on the USC Trojans:
USC started the season by whipping up on two Sun Belt opponents in Arkansas State and Idaho. But their third game against their old nemesis Stanfurd did not go quite as well, as the Cardinal bullied them on the defensive side of the football in a 41-31 defeat. The Trojans responded well the next week, beating up on Arizona State 42-14 in Tempe in a crucial Pac-12 South road win.
They then got shocked by Washington at home, had to let go of Steve Sarkisian, and lost a tale of three routs in Notre Dame, and are now prepping to host Utah in another critical Pac-12 South matchup before their trip up to Berkeley. USC could shockingly be the best 3-3 team in college football, so it's hard to let our guard down.
Cal has not beaten USC since 2003, and most of those contests weren't close. But Cal rebounded from a horrid start last year to only lose 38-30 in the Coliseum. Maybe they have enough to make that final push over the top this year?
How excited are you for this game? What are your early thoughts?
