Miller Forristall, the number 15 tight end in the 2015 class, will be in town for a spooky showdown against USC on Halloween. Forristall, who is currently committed to Alabama, resides in Cartersville Georgia. Forristall has a whole bunch of other SEC offers, but plans for Cal to be his only other official visit, according to Ryan Gorcey of Scout.
Since the Bear Raid offense doesn't utilize the tight end position the way pro-style offenses do, Forristall would likely fit in the position currently occupied by Stephen Anderson. With a 6-6, 210 pound frame, Forristall could develop into a force to be reckoned with in the middle of the field.
Forristall also has good speed for his size with a 4.74 40-yard dash. His frame and size will allow him to be a matchup nightmare for linebackers and safeties. It will take a lot to pry him away from Alabama, but the amount of hype Cal is garnering after a magnificent start to the season could help their momentum on the recruiting trail, especially if they close the season strong.
