Bad news: The Golden Bears are the Kings in the North no more. Cal's loss to Utah drops them behind Stanfurd in the Pac-12 North. Cal is 2-1 in the Pac-12, Stanfurd 3-0.

Good news: Oregon appears to be in deep trouble. The Ducks lost to Washington State, putting them in next-to-last place in the North! Washington's upset win over USC also puts them in the win column, but the Bears do have the tiebreaker over both Washington schools. Oregon State is 0-2 after getting blasted by Arizona.

In the South, Utah stands at 2-0 in-conference and the lone unbeaten team at 5-0, and have a huge clash upcoming with Arizona State. Arizona and USC are a surprising 1-2, while 2-1 UCLA preps for another battle with Stanfurd. Colorado is sadly last.

Cal is still very much in control of their destiny entering the bye week though. Win out, and they will win the Pac-12 North. Easy as that! Glad we cleared that up!
