Cal Women's Gymnastics
Coming off a season where they achieved the top conference finish in program history, the Golden Bears women's gymnastics squad opened their 2015 season with the 2nd highest opening score in program history: 195.175. Better yet, the 14th ranked Bears finished ahead of formerly No.10 Stanfurd (193.450).
Bears won the Nor Cal Classic title in a meet that included UC Davis, Sac State, and San Jose State.
Youth is showing great promise for the Bears, according to CalBears.com.
Freshman Toni-Ann Williams claimed a pair of titles in her debut, scoring a 9.85 on bars and a 9.875 in her first appearance on floor.
Bears take on Sac State today (Friday) at 7 pm. This meet is streamed online via the link below:

No.8 Golden Bears will host No.4 Stanfurd on Saturday in the Big Meet at 7 pm. While I'm back in the Bay Area for work currently, I don't think I'll be able to make it over for this meet.
