Cal fans, fear not. We will not be alone next fall. Bryce Treggs has pretty much confirmed that he is returning for his senior season.
I didn't sign with a coach. I signed with the University of California. Coaches come and go, but that degree? Nobody can take that from me.

I'm committed to the guys that strap up and go to war with me on Saturdays. I can't wait to ball out with them for my last college season.

Treggs has had a solid ride with the Bears. He saw time as a true freshman and caught 21 passes for 216 yards his first season. He's exploded since then, hauling in a team-leading 77 catches for 751 yards in 2013 and a steady 52 catches for 583 yards in 2014.
There is a reason Bryce is one of our most beloved Bears; blue and gold blood just courses through his veins. He took a lot of our losses this season pretty hard and wants to end his Golden Bear career on a successful note.
Cal has already had a series of losses to deal with in the past few days with Treggs's coach Rob Likens heading off to Kansas along with Zach Yenser, and Treggs's teammate Chris Harper deciding to turn pro. But Treggs's return will hopefully start to stabilize things everywhere.
