Cal football recruiting news: Chris Williamson, Semisi Uluave, Brandon Singleton updates

Can the Bears hold onto Nick Buchanan too?

(Check out the last Cal football recruiting wire if you need more of a fix.)

Gainesville (Ga.) cornerback Chris Williamson currently has Cal as his leader. Williamson is going through a list of impressive visits though, including North Carolina, Michigan and Florida. A long way to go here. Lots of big schools on the East Coast definitely want Williamson.

Dunwoody (Ga.) offensive tackle & Cal commit Nick Buchanan is getting the full-court press from the Georgia Bulldogs, with the Georgia offensive line coach apparently doing more recruiting through other recruits.

San Diego (Ca.) St. Augustine cornerback Frank Buncom and Crescent City (Ca.) Del Norte cornerback Quenton Meeks are big Vanderbilt targets.

San Bernardino (Ca.) San Gorgonio safety Nathan Meadors enjoyed his Notre Dame visit. UCLA is the main visit!

Honolulu (Hi.) Punahou offensive guard Semisi Uluave was a big fan of his Texas Tech official. Cal is one of his main candidates on the list, with UCLA and Oregon probably leading.

Boutte (La.) Hahnville wide receiver Brandon Singleton is a Georgia Tech commit. He just took his Georgia Tech visit. Cal is up next, with Arkansas in there.

New Orleans (La.) Holy Cross wide receiver and Georgia commit Michael Chigbu is off the board; he's shut down his recruitment.

Lynn Haven (Fl.) A. Crawford Mosley safety Reakwon Jones has committed to Indiana.
