The California Golden Bears have several more scholarships that are still available to use, and there are a few more players that we are still looking to attract to Berkeley!

Dallas (Tx.) Bishop Dunne Catholic wide receiver A.D. Miller has decommitted from Illinois. An official visit to Cal looms next week.

In addition to South Carolina and Georgia offering, Penn State has now offered Cal commit Atlanta (Ga.) Dunwoody offensive tackle Nick Buchanan.

The 6-4, 290 pound OL says, "I'm still locked into California and I don't plan on decommitting" but is still entertaining visits from those three schools within the next week or so.

More on Buchanan here.

"My parents are just sitting back and absorbing it all," he said. "I’m still committed to California right now. There’s not one thing that will make de-commit. But my ears are open to whoever offers me. I’m not going to shun anybody who is interested. I will hear them out."

Crescent City (Ca.) Del Norte cornerback Quenton Meeks keeps the Bears in his top 3. Washington and Arizona State are no longer in the picture; Stanford (just visited) and Vanderbilt are the main competition.

Auburn (Ca.) Placer offensive tackle and Cal commit Johnny Capra is coming off a visit to Utah. No word on that visit yet. But it does seem like he has had a good senior year and is getting better.

Lynn Haven (FL.) A. Crawford Mosley safety Reakwon Jones took his first official visit of 2015 to Indiana. Cal will be looming on January 30th.

Buena Park (Ca.) athlete Jaylinn Hawkins visited Boise State this past week. It's very likely that Cal is getting a visit very soon.

San Diego (Ca.) St. Augustine cornerback Frank Buncom visited Stanford this past week. Cal is expected to get his final visit before a final decision.

In-homes

Pasadena (Ca.) La Salle athlete and Cal commit Evan Rambo got a home visit with his position coach.

Corona (Ca.) Centennial wide receiver and Cal commit Greyson Bankhead got Sonny Dykes in his home!

Sammamish (Wa.) defensive lineman/linebacker and Cal commit Cameron Saffle also got an in-home from Fred Tate and Sonny Dykes!
