Well, Coach Likens, it looks like you are lonely no more, because someone else also has a commitment now.
On Thursday afternoon, the Bears struck gold with their fourth recruit in the last month, securing the services of one Lonny Powell, who hails from Sacramento.
The news was first hinted at by recruiting coordinator and running backs coach Pierre Ingram...

Lonny Powell, a 6-1, 230 MLB from Sacramento High, has committed to #Cal. #CalFootball #FightForCalifornia #StrikeGold

Powell picked the Bears over reported offers from Colorado, Colorado St. and Eastern Washington, per Rivals, but this may be a case of Cal getting in on the ground floor before he blows up.For what it's worth, Ryan Gorcey dug up this take from Sacramento reporter Joe Davidson last year:
Lonny Powell at Sac High is an absolute monster, hear... — He is an excellent player. Can play RB and LB. looks ... http://t.co/mCSpOlHrxE
