The California Golden Bears have landed commitment number three. This one is a wide receiver, with Corona (Ca.) Centennial wide receiver Greyson Bankhead making his verbal to be a Golden Bear. The 5'10, 160 pound wideout has flown under the radar up to this point, and the Bears have to be happy to get to him first.
Bankhead also had offers from Arizona and SMU. But it appeared the moment Cal offered, Bankhead was ready to pounce on it.

What makes Bankhead so impressive on tape is his speed and quickness. He's just difficult to contain in the open field and has that speed dimension to the game. Cal has an excellent set of wideouts, but they could sure use more speed to open up the big play. Bankhead could provide that extra dimension.
