In 2013, Looney played in seven games and was pegged to be a potential starter in 2014; he has already filed an appeal with the NCAA so he can play immediately in 2014.
Looney won't be completely alone in the Bay Area as his older brother, Joe, is currently a guard for the Fightin' Harbaughs 49ers.
