Cal Bears in the NFL Draft: DeAndre Coleman to Jaguars, Kameron Jackson to Colts, more UFA rumors

New, comments

More Bears will get an NFL shot.

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

The good news for our California Golden Bears that decided to leave for the NFL Draft? They're all going to get their NFL shot along with Richard Rodgers and Khairi Fortt.

DeAndre Coleman (who went surprisingly undrafted) will get a shot with the Jacksonville Jaguars. I think Coleman has the best shot at making people rue their decision not to draft him.

Kameron Jackson was one of the many Golden Bear juniors who decided it was time to test whether their talents were really NFL-worthy. The Indianapolis Colts will see what he's made of.

The Green Bay Packers took a chance on Giorgio Tavecchio a few years back, so why not try again with a Cal Italian kicker? Vincenzo D'Amato gets the call-up.

The rest is still in the rumor mill. There is no official confirmation on any of these signings.

Vei Moala supposedly will get a chance with the Baltimore Ravens.

Brendan Bigelow might be rejoining Jeff Tedford on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Chris McCain says he's joining the Miami Dolphins, but there isn't anything official on that signing yet.

Leland will have your full recap tomorrow morning. GO BEARS!
