March Madness Final Four Open Thread

If you told me a 7 and an 8 seed made the Final Four, you might think it was some wacky team like VCU or Witchita State. Instead, we have Witchita State as a 1 seed and MBB blue bloods UConn and UK were the 7 and 8 seed. If you had told me in any given year that those two were in the Final Four, it would not seem out of the ordinary. So, while it is "madness" that a 7 and an 8 made the Final Four, it seems very standard to me. UConn, Kentucky, and Florida have all won Championships very recently. UConn in 2011 and Kentucky in 2012. Florida won back to back in 2006 and 2007. Wisconsin hasn't been in the Final Four since 2000, so they are not quite the blue bloods of the others.
