The 6’5, 202 pound wide receiver has always been high on Cal since receiving the offer, and now the commitment is secure. Ryan Gorcey has the first story on Aaron’s commitment.
Aaron was first discovered by Cal last summer, when he wowed offensive coordinator Tony Franklin with his size and hands at the one-day Sonny Dykes Skills Camp at Memorial Stadium. Last season, Aaron was the leading receiver for the 6-5 Indians, hauling in 48 balls – nearly twice as many as the next-most prolific pass catcher – for 910 yards and a team-high 12 touchdowns. As a sophomore, he had 32 catches for 543 yards and seven touchdowns.
Aaron received offers from Cal, Duke, Harvard, Nevada, San Jose State, Utah, Yale, Brown and UPenn.
