Since this is a road feed, maybe it is of a decent quality (on the flip side, maybe Cal Lacrosse has drastically improved their home stream this season).
Bears beat Saint Mary's (20-14) but fell to San Diego State (14-11 in OT). In the young season, Bears have had a pretty balanced attack with 10 players scoring goals and 7 of them scoring multiple goals. This fact kind of reminds me of the Cal Women's Soccer start, before the entire team hits an offensive shortage later in the season.
More from the game note:
The first two games have resulted in the emergence of true freshman Bella Huther, who currently leads the Bears with nine points on nine goals. After scoring four times in the season opener against Saint Mary's, Huther tallied five more goals against San Diego State last week. Her efforts against the Aztecs earned her MPSF Rookie of the Week honors.
UC Davis started the season with two road wins over George Mason and Old Dominion.
GO BEARS!
