With the Bears having an regional qualifying score (RQS) of 195.650 with a 195.457 average and 196.675 season-high score, the Bears are heading into tonight's rematch with 'Furd with some confidence (Furd edged the Bears at the NorCal meet near the beginning of the season). This is Cal's best RQS score since 2003.
Sophomore Serena Long was the latest Cal Muscle Milk Student Athlete of the Week after winning the vault, beam, and floor title in a meet against both Washington State and Sacramento State.
After this meet, the Bears will travel to Kentucky for a meet this weekend. Follow by hosting UC Davis to close the regular season. Next time back on the Pac-12 Networks, it would the Pac-12 Championships on March 22 which is hosted by Cal.
