The Bears will be dancing, but when and where? Conference tournament action has led ESPN's bracketology to lower our Bears to a 7 seed in the same pod as 2 seed South Carolina. That would be less than ideal and would seem perhaps unduly harsh on a few late-season losses influenced by injury. But at least Cal wouldn't face the higher seed on their home floor if it were USC (non-evil division).
What are the other options? How about College Station to take on Texas A&M? Lexington for Kentucky? Neutral site pods that include West Virginia or Nebraska or Louisville? I have no clue. We'll all find out shortly.
Expect to see Stanford garner another 1 seed, but for a nice change of pace, there should be some relatively new Pac-12 blood in the field. USC will certainly hear their name called, likely in the 10-11-12 seed range, while Arizona State and Oregon State should both also be safely in, albeit in the dreaded 8-9 range.
GO BEARS!
