Cal football recruiting: Stephen Johnson III, Isaiah Langley, Austin Aaron among local offers

The Bears have been handing out offers like Oski hands out candy. Here are the local offers

Here is our hashtag for the year.

Who is responsible for this hashtag?

Folsom (Ca.) offensive lineman Cody Creason gets a Cal offer. Creason was also offered by Washington State and has since then picked up offers from half the Pac-12. Creason is the teammate of big quarterback recruiting target Jake Browning.

San Leandro (Ca.) athlete Stephen Johnson III was also recently offered. Johnson plays quarterback in college but is probably going to be slated as either a wide receiver or a defensive back at the next level. Johnson is incredibly fast, running a 4.37 40-yard dash at the US Army National Combine.

Johnson also has offers from Colorado, Duke and Utah State and is looking for interest from UCLA and USC. But a big offer might have come via the Ducks, and more should be on the way.

Local Pleasanton (Ca.) Foothill cornerback Isaiah Langley just received an offer from Notre Dame. Is Cal in the mix? I don't know, you have to pay to find out! But Langley is definitely a huge local prospect.

Moraga (Ca.) Campolindo tight end Tyler Petite could be our newest target for inside wide receiver.

Petite has several offers from schools like Arizona State, Cal, Colorado and Northwestern.

Austin Aaron, Napa (Ca.) wide receiver: Aaron has been offered by Duke, Harvard, Nevada and San Jose State and has attended camps at Cal, Stanford and Washington. Aaron is considered a top 50 wide receiver/California prospect in this class, and just picked up the Cal offer.

Danville (Ca.) San Ramon Valley offensive lineman Dru Samia received a Cal offer after a recent visit. Utah State, Washington State and Weber State have also offered.

Eureka (Ca.) offensive lineman Jake Hanson also received an offer. Considering Hanson isn't on anyone's radar, I imagine that we are the first to extend the hand. Hanson has some pretty impressive credentials as a high school wrestler.

Concord (Ca.) De La Salle safety Je'Vari Anderson just received two big offers from Cal and Oregon State. Those are the first two offers from Anderson, who just hit the recruiting radar and made his debut on the Top247.

Auburn (Ca.) Placer offensive tackle Johnny Capra received two local offers this past weekend from Cal and San Jose State. He had an impressive week at the Rivals Camp NorCal camp, and just looks like an impressive individual in all facets.

Two brothers have also picked up Golden Bear offers. San Jose (Ca.) Valley Christian running back Kirk Johnson (2015) and wide receiver Collin Johnson (2016) also have offers from Texas. Both look like outstanding prospects, but unfortunately their dad is a Longhorn so we’re probably decided underdogs.
