Cal could use some immediate help at the offensive line position to ensure that the Bears are secure in their blocking depth. They landed a junior college player in Dominic Granado, who faxed in his letter of intent to the Golden Bears.
The Golden West Community College offensive lineman measures in at 6'5 and weighs at around 285 pounds. Granado provides some flexibility as to where he can be slotted, as he has experience at multiple positions. He played mostly tackle on both sides of the ball, but also saw some time at guard. His athleticism and his quickness will be critical in unleashing the run game, as he plays from snap to whistle. Zach Yenser found himself a lineman who has the potential to contribute this year or next.
Here are the highlights of Granado's junior college games via Hudl.
Granado's rankings courtesy of the recruiting services provide him two stars from both Rivals, Scout, and 247Sports.
