Vic Enwere officially became a Golden Bear this morning when he officially delivered his LOI to Berkeley this morning. The six-foot, 210 pound running back out of Sugar Land (Tx.) Fort Bend Austin will hope to continue in the tradition of strong, excellent Cal runners and try to bring back the nasty.
Enwere is a strong, physical grinder who will try and return the nasty to a Bear Raid rushing game that lacked punch last year. Given the departure of Brendan Bigelow, and the lack of any power runners on the team (Khalfani Muhammad is more speedster), Enwere will look to pick up the tough yards between the tackles.
Enwere had offers from Michigan, Duke, Michigan State, Colorado and a host of other schools, and the Wolverines made a late charge, but Enwere stayed true and is now a Golden Bear!
