Trent Irwin, Newhall (Ca.) Hart wide receiver: Irwin is an interesting case because his teammate is quarterback Brady White, who also recently received a Cal offer. White is a top target for Cal, and you have to expect that if he decides to be a Bear, Irwin will definitely consider Berkeley too. He participated in a one-day camp last summer and is the likeliest of the wide receivers currently offered to be a Bear. Irwin has offers from Cal, Colorado & Colorado State.

Lavan Alston, Ventura (Ca.) St. Bonaventure wide receiver: The Bears could use some speed among their receivers, and Alston would fit the ticket. He is FAST.

Alston currently holds offers from Cal, Oregon State, Vanderbilt and Washington State.

Cordell Broadus, Las Vegas (Nv.) Bishop Gorman wide receiver: Ah, the battle for the Snoop Dogg Dynasty is underway. It is a circus. USC, UCLA, Baylor, Notre Dame and Florida State are all in on the mix, with more joining in by the day.

It's not all about the name though. Broadus is a really good wideout.

Cal might be a factor in here somewhere, but I imagine we are a dark horse in the race.

Desean Holmes, Pasadena (Ca.) John Muir wide receiver: Holmes got an early offer from USC and the Trojans have been pretty high on his list along with Oklahoma. Cal is probably a bit behind here.

Jaylinn Hawkins, Buena Park (Ca.) wide receiver: Hawkins has gotten a few offers from Utah, Cal, Oregon State, and Washington State. Hawkins is looking for bigger offers though, like UCLA, USC and Oregon.
