Perhaps it was the news of Jim Harbaugh accepting the head coaching job at the University of Michigan dominating the college football landscape, but yesterday's bowl thread was, let's say, not very active. Three comments. THREE! That's less action than the Oklahoma and Texas offenses mustered in their respective bowl games yesterday!
Today's bowl thread might be more lively, at least tonight, when a team we know so well -- the Stanford Cardinal -- represents the Pac-12 in the Foster Farms Bowl in Santa Clara. Stanford will be without one of its key weapons as Ty Montgomery has been ruled out of the game, still nursing an injury he suffered in the Big Game. Our bitter rivals are a 13.5-point favorite in this one notwithstanding.
In addition to the Foster Farms Bowl, the Music City Bowl (Notre Dame vs. LSU) and the Belk Bowl (Georgia vs. Louisville) are available for your viewing enjoyment. (If you are wondering, "Belk" is a department store.)
