Bowls, bowls, and more bowls! The college football bowl game extravaganza continues today with five bowl games. We take particular interest in two of them, as two of our Pac-12 brethren are in action today. In the Hyundai Sun Bowl in lovely El Paso, Texas, the Arizona State Sun Devils will take on the ACC's Duke Blue Devils. (If you want to know what sport is number one at Duke, as if you didn't know already, check out the logo below!) And in the final game of the day, the USC Trojans will face off against the Bo Pelini-less Nebraska Cornhuskers in the National University Holiday Bowl. We'll probably see or hear plenty of Mike Riley during that game!
And while it doesn't involve Pac-12 teams, don't sleep on the Duck Commander Independence Bowl in Shreveport, La., between the Miami Hurricanes and the Arkansas Razorbacks. Not because I'm particularly intrigued by this matchup or because I'm wistful of the bygone days it was the Poulan Weed-Eater Independence Bowl. It's because I just wanted to say "Duck Commander Independence Bowl." Does "Duck Commander" sound familiar? Yep. It's these guys.
