Cal football recruiting commits update: Lonny Powell to Semper Fidelis Bowl

What are our Golden Bear verbals up to?

The Cal coaches have been on the road to try and connect with not just potential prospects (click here for that Golden Recruiting Wire!), but also hopeful commits. This staff knows this might be the last significant class they get before serious judgment gets pass their way, so they are on the grind and hustling hard.

We also have links to the majority of our scouting reports for each players.

In case you missed it, Ross Bowers (scouting report) did this; it was pretty rad.

Lonny Powell (scouting report) supposedly went all Darryl Dawkins on a backboard.

Luc Bequette (scouting report) just visited Vanderbilt. Interestingly, 247 Sports seems to think that Bequette will flip to Vanderbilt, but I'm skeptical.  We'll see.

Russell Ude (scouting report) got a visit from both Art Kaufman and Fred Tate.

Cameron Saffle (commitment story) committed to Cal this past weekend, and also hit the ESPN300 mere moments later!

Austin Aaron (scouting report), Trevor Howard (scouting report), Johnny Capra (scouting report) and Mailk Psalms (scouting report) all attended the Big Game.

Rob Likens was on the road to check out Greyson Bankhead (scouting report).

Ryan Gibson (scouting report) got both Sonny Dykes and Zach Yenser to come by.

Evan Rambo (commitment story) got a visit from the Cal defensive backs coach Greg Burns.

So did fellow defensive back commit Malik Psalms (scouting report).

Zeandae Johnson (commitment story) had an in-home visit with Cal defensive line coach Fred Tate.

Here is a scouting report on new Cal commit Billy McCrary (commitment story).

Our commitments look like they're settling in and are ready to be Bears.
