Oregon 59, California 41

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Cal quarterback Jared Goff set the school record with his 11th career 300-yard passing game but the Bears fell to No. 6 Oregon on Friday night, 59-41, in the first-ever college football game at Levi's Stadium.

Goff was 32-for-52 for 360 yards and two touchdowns, breaking a tie with Pat Barnes for the most 300-yard games ever at Cal.

What it means: They are who we thought they were. Both teams. Oregon piled up 592 yards of offense and cruised in the second half, while Cal continued to show progress. It was the fourth game this year that Cal and its opponent both accumulated at least 560 yards of offense. Only one other team in the country (Bowling Green) has been involved in two such games.
