Yes, yours truly will be on the scene to witness and hopefully update (assuming internet connection) the action from Part 1 of the Bay Area Derby. Can the high scoring (top in the nation!) Golden Bears get their customary 3 goals (or more!) against our biggest rival?

Like Cal Football, Cal Men's Soccer is good at scoring with 3 goals per game average. Sadly, the Bears also concedes 2 goals per game to their opponents, which is about twice that of 'Furd, for whatever that's worth.
It's a close fight for the top of the Pac-12 conference, the Golden Bears are merely a point out of the logjam for first place with a game to go before the halfway point.

In the all-time match up between the two schools, 'Furd has a slim 24-22-8 lead. Sadly, 'Furd only pulled ahead recently thanks to a 4-1-1 record in the last 6 meetings against the Bears. Cal's last victory at 'Furd came in 2010 (so we're due).
GO BEARS!
