The junior guard dominated not only by making plays, but by making big plays; she also demonstrated her value when she wasn't on the court. For example, when she picked up her third foul midway through the third quarter (an unnecessary reach from behind) and had to sit, Arizona (4-13, 0-6) suddenly perked up and Lindsay Gottlieb was forced to put Boyd back in.
The Bears absolutely need Boyd to continue this strong play if they want to catch up to the despicable Furd, who has a one-game lead over the Bears.

- In the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, K Vincenzo D'Amato kicked off four times, went 1/2 on field goals, and nailed his two extra-point attempts
- SBNation has Cal listed as having two players on the roster of a Super Bowl team this year, but they're forgetting RB C.J. Anderson!
- DL Deandre Coleman continues the storied Cal tradition of kicking butt during the workouts and games leading to the draft
