Having already lost Avery Sebastian for the year, the Cal football team has had a tough week for injuries...and it's about to get a little tougher. After both reportedly suffering head injuries against Northwestern, neither defensive end Chris McCain nor wide receiver Kenny Lawler will play against Portland State.

On the flip side, Brendan Bigelow is fully cleared to play against Portland State - so there's that.
The good news is that the Bears can get probably by without McCain and Lawler, who will be resting and hopefully available for next weekend against Ohio State. In place of McCain, you can expect his reps to be shared between Todd Barr, Puka Lopa and Kyle Kragen.
Lawler's replacement is a little bit less clear, because wide receiver reps can be divvied up relatively flexibly - Chris Harper will take most of the playing time out at the Z receiver anyway, and James Grisom is listed as the third Z receiver.
