After quite a successful opening weekend when they defeated then No.3 Georgetown 2-0 and next then No.2 Maryland 3-2 in OT, the Bears now become the hunted. Ranked as high as No. 4 in the Soccer America poll and No. 10 in the NSCAA poll, the Bears travel a short distance to San Francisco to take on the unranked Dons.
With two goals, fifth year senior Steve Birnbaum received recognition as TopDrawerSoccer.com's Player of the Week and a part of CollegeSoccerNews.com's Team of the Week.
