Okay, sure - the Gold Outs haven't always been effective.

Perhaps something else might be, and with the biggest out of conference opponent coming to Berkeley since Tennessee in 2007, Cal Athletics has put together something new, right in time for Ohio State next weekend.

They're calling for a "Stripe Out", where each section of Memorial wears a different color. More details below:

  • Fans sitting in single-lettered sections and the ESP seats will wear BLUE
  • Fans sitting in double-lettered sections will wear GOLD
  • The Cal Student Section is asked to wear their GOLD Gameday t-shirts
