After taking down the NCAA National Runner-ups of last year, Georgetown, by a score of 2-0 on Friday, the Cal Men's Soccer team will look to carry that momentum into another tough match today, against the 2nd ranked Maryland Terrapins.

In recent years, Cal and Maryland are actually quite familiar with one another. With most of the matches, taking place in Maryland (one of the few Cal events that I have been able to attend in person over the past few years), the Bears have a 1-4-0 record against the Terps with the lone win being at a neutral site (UCLA). It certainly looks like home field has a real affect on this series. Maryland are coming off a 3-3 tie with Stanfurd at Furd on Friday. Terps rallied from being down 2 goals to get that result.
