With many of their previous Elite 11 recruits flaming out, the news of yet another one joining the roster may inspire skepticism in Berkeley. But what a luxury to have - as Luke Rubenzer will become the 4th Elite 11 quarterback on the Cal roster when he arrives next fall.

It should also be noted that Rubenzer outplayed the highly hyped Keller Chryst, who will be heading down south to Palo Alto, and Rubenzer's Field Generals squad eventually won the 7 on 7 tournament at The Opening.
Add a meeting with Aaron Rodgers to that list, and you have a pretty darn good week for the future Bear.
Congratulations, Luke!
