Sunday's Results:

Missed the action on Sunday? Universal sports have the videos of the races and some interviews for your enjoyment. Here are the relevant finals with Cal Bears.

Women's 4x100 Free Relay:

Missy Franklin (considered the best US Swimmer) swam the first leg and actually saw the USA in a hole against a tough Australian squad. Natalie Coughlin swam the second leg to cut into the Aussie lead. It was not until the final 50 meter did the US take the narrow victory thanks to Megan Romano. In the process, a new US record was set.

Both Missy Franklin and Natalie Coughlin were interviewed at the end of the video above.

Men's 4x100 Free Relay:

Nathan Adrian swam the first leg for the US. Anthony Ervin swam the 3rd leg of this race. While the focus was on the USA vs. Australia battle, France won the gold at the end with the US in second. Adrian was interviewed at the end of the video.

Women's 400 Free:

By a pretty small margin, Lauren Boyle won the bronze in women's 400 Free yesterday. She was the first Cal Bears to medal in the swimming portion of this year's World Championships.

Also in action yesterday:

Men's 100 Breast Semi-final

Wearing some new textile PB, Slovenian Calympian Damir advanced to Monday's final with the 6th best time.

Women's 100 Fly Semi-final

Calympian and CGB Hall of Famer, Dana Vollmer had a subpar (by her lofty standard) performance in the semi-final but advanced to today's final, nonetheless.

Women's 200 IM Semi-final

Calympian and this year's CGB Hall of Fame voting wildcard round contender, Caitlin Leverenz got the 7th best time in the semi-final to also have a shot at medalling in today's action.

GO BEARS!
