Kenny Lawler Spring Practice Talk! (via Lindsay Brauner)

Thanks to TheScientist019 for transcribing!

Lindsay Brauner (LB): Hi, it's Lindsay Brauner here with Kenny Lawler. Kenny, thanks for joining us.

Kenny Lawler (KL): No problem.

LB: You redshirted last year and in these last six practices, you've really been stepping up and doing well. What did it take for you to make that transition?

KL: Redshirting helped me gain some weight and explosiveness. From the weight room, that's been transitioning onto the field, so that's been a lot of my improvement.

LB: What have you been doing in the weight room that's helped you the most?

KL: Squats, I believe. It really helps with your explosive lift.

LB: How are you liking your new coaches?

KL: I love them. They've been giving me opportunity to show what I have and I've been taking the opportunity and I love the coaching.

LB: Who of the coaches have you connected with the most?

KL: My position coach, Coach [Rob] Likens. We have a great relationship.

LB: What was your favorite part of practice tonight?

KL: Dogging the defense. We do it everyday.

LB: Who's your favorite guy to get around?

KL: It's fun getting around all of them because it's fun competing.

LB: Awesome! Thanks so much for joining us, Kenny.

KL: No problem; thank you.
