Abdur-Rahim. Kidd. Anderson. And tonight, Allen Crabbe will be the next among them, as the latest Cal player to go in the first round of the NBA draft. Crabbe was selected by the Oklahoma City Thunder with the 26th pick Portland with the 31st pick, which is around - and maybe even a tad lower than - where he was projected to go, but it was a strong junior season that helped get him there, when he averaged 18.4 PPG and 6.1 RPG. A Pac-12 Player of the Year award didn't hurt, either.
Allen Crabbe is heading to Portland. Pick traded by Cleveland.

And in case you're feeling sentimental, some of CGB's favorite memories about Crabbe can be found here, as can a scouting report from Scott Chong.
Congratulations, Allen, and the best of luck balling out with Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant Damian Lillard.
What do you think about his destination? What about his NBA future? Sound off!
UPDATE: Crabbe comments on being drafted.
Allen Crabbe says "it's funny how things work out," because he never had a meeting or a workout with the Trailblazers. #Cal #CalBasketball
