Cal Baseball vs. Arizona State Saturday Gamethread

Bears start the stretch of the final 7 games (all at home) with a 3-1 upset over No.13 ASU on Friday, thanks to 3 runs in the 8th to come from behind. Can the Bears do that again?

It was a pitching duel for the most part on Friday before the Sun Devils managed a run in the 7th, thanks in part by a Logan Scott wild pitch. The Bears answered back in the bottom of the 8th, however. After the game has been tied, Devon Rodriguez managed to come through with the bases loaded but two outs.

It was as impressive as this, but it is a perfect excuse to post this again:


Dylan Nelson got the final out for the saves as the Bears look to pull off the possibly impossible task of winning out to make themselves post season eligible.
