LATE NOTICE ALERT: Cal has organized a party!

Fans and supporters of Cal women's basketball are invited to a send-off rally at Haas Pavilion Thursday, April 4 at 10:30 a.m. to wish the Golden Bears good luck before they depart for the Final Four in New Orleans.

This free event will include performances by the Cal band and spirit squads, a team march to victory and remarks from head coach Lindsay Gottlieb. Fans are encouraged to enter Haas Pavilion through the main entrance from Spieker Plaza.

This is the first time in school history Cal has advanced to the women's Final Four. Cal will face Louisville in the semifinal game on Sunday, April 7 at 3:30 p.m. PT broadcast live on ESPN.

What with being employed and living in Sacramento, I can't make it. But if you can, go! And then come back here and describe your experience! "But Norcalnick!" you say, "I am also gainfully employed! Is there not a party for me to attend?!" Well, hypothetical person, check this out:

Beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday, Pappy's on Telegraph will become the official Final Four watch party location, showing the game on the big screen with speakers, and offer specials food and drink specials for fans wearing Cal gear and ask for the "GO BEARS DISCOUNT."

San Francisco
Fans in the San Francisco area are invited to The Republic at Scott and Lombard in the marina for the official Final Four watch party. Fans dressed in the Cal blue and gold, will receive the following $4 specials to honor the Final Four: - $4 drafts, $4 well drinks, $4 wine and assorted appetizers for $4
