Cal Basketball: Allen Crabbe, Pac-12 Player Of The Year?

Could Allen Crabbe be the Pac-12 player of the year? Plus brief looks ahead for Cal basketball as they prepare for crucial home games against Colorado and Utah.

3. Where would you rank Allen Crabbe among Pac-12 player of the year candidates?

FrankCohen:
First. I really don't see any candidates who can match both the production of Allen and/or his importance to his team's success. Now that the Bears are in the thick of the conference race, you have to think he's the frontrunner.

LEastCoastBears: Despite an off week, Crabbe is still in pretty good position. With Jahii Carson and ASU basically out of the contention for the conference title, I think Crabbe can probably lock this award up if the Bears win out the regular season (regardless of his actual contributions in those wins).

4. What does Cal need to do to beat Colorado and Utah?

FrankCohen: Keep up the defensive intensity. Get Crabbe open shots. Hold our own down low. Keep playing with the swagger and confidence we have gained over the last 8 games. Feed off of the energy of what promises to be a ROCKING Haas Pavilion!

LEastCoastBears: The Bears need to continue to play tough defense and then make some shots. Crabbe coming back to form of making 50% of his shots would be nice. So would Wallace shooting more like in the OSU game (5 for 12) than his previous few games (shooting 20ish%).
