UC Irvine are coming off a 3 game home sweep of Baylor (who Cal will face next to open up a tournament in Houston next weekend, hosted by Rice). It's nice to see Devon Rodriguez, the hero of that epic comeback in the magical season two years ago, back in the middle of the lineup this year. It is also interesting that Derek Campbell, who played plenty of middle infield, being the primary CF for the season.
