Bears won 3-0 behind a goal by senior Steve Birnbaum (who later had to leave the game due to injury) and two goals by Omar Jalali. Watch Birnbaum's goal below:
No news yet whether Birnbaum would be ready to go against Washington. The Sunday match between No.3 Washington and No.4 Cal at 1 PM on the Pac-12 Networks may determine the Pac-12 title (Bears can clinch it with a W).

California Golden Bears (11-2-2, 5-1-1 in the Pac-12) vs. Oregon State Beavers (7-7-2, 0-5-2 Pac-12)
Time: 1 p.m. PT
TV: Pac-12 Networks
With the big weekend matchup with the Washington Huskies looming, Bears cannot afford to overlook the Beavers, even though they are winless in the conference. In their earlier matchup in Berkeley, Cal triumphed by a score of 3-1. Can the Bears get back to form and beat the Beavers?
Men's Soccer RPI
Bears may be 4th in the coaches' poll but they are 3rd in RPI behind No.1 UCLA and No.2 Washington. A sweep this weekend, including a road win over No.2 Washington, may be enough to get the Bears back to be No.1 in RPI.
Conference Title Chance
The trio of Cal, UCLA, and Washington all still have a shot at winning the conference title. UCLA is currently in the lead but have played two extra matches with two extra draws. Washington has one extra draw than the Bears, so the Bears would need to draw or win against them this weekend to maintain that lead.
