This could be the biggest Thursday night ever in college football. Don't believe me? Just look at the schedule:
(10) Oklahoma at (6) Baylor | 4:30 p.m. | FS1 (HD) |
Troy at Louisiana Lafayette | 4:30 p.m. | ESPNU (HD) / WatchESPN |
DII: UNC Pembroke at Valdosta State | 4:30 p.m. | espn3 / (CSS / CST) (cable) |
(3) Oregon at (5) Stanford | 6:00 p.m. | ESPN (HD) / WatchESPN |
Four top 10 teams in action. National championship implications. Rose Bowl implications. What more can you ask for? (Well, except for Cal being a part of it, but that's not happening anytime soon. Sigh.)
If you like your football to be of the professional variety, the NFL Network game tonight (5:25 PM Pacific time) is Washington at Minnesota. Quite a night for Baylor fans, huh? Baylor tries to go 8-0 for the first time in its history while RG III, the best player in Baylor history (apologies to Mike Singletary), is in action at the same time. Great night to be a Bear of the Waco variety.
This is your open thread for all the Thursday night action. Enjoy the games.
