California Golden Bears (14-6, 3-3) vs. Santa Clara Broncos (15-13)
Where: Spieker Aquatics Complex, Berkeley, Calif.
When: 2 p.m. PT
TV: Pac-12 Networks
Closing out the home schedule this weekend, the Bears play hosts to Santa Clara (non-conference match) and UC Irvine (winless in the conference). The UC Irvine match on Sunday morning at 11 AM is also Senior Day for the Bears, where they will honor Michael Boggan, Giacomo Cupido, Hunter Gettelfinger, Ayal Keren, Miquel Martin de Bustamante, Scott Siegel and Collin Smith.
These should be a couple of tune-up matches for the Bears to work out some issues ahead of the Big Splash next Saturday and the always tough but very important MPSF tournament.
No.5 Bears have been quite solid this year against weaker teams but have yet to break through against the top 4 teams (Pacific, USC, Furd, and UCLA).
GO BEARS!
