We have a Friday night open thread. There must be a Pac-12 game going on!

Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports

A Friday night college football open thread? We almost never do that! But there is good reason for it tonight. Take a peek at tonight's schedule:

Friday, November 1st
Southern at Texas Southern 6:00 p.m. PT
KHOU (cable)
USC at Oregon State 6:00 p.m. PT
ESPN2 (HD) / WatchESPN

The Worldwide Leader has a Pac-12 game on for the second night in a row. In case you missed it on Thursday night, Arizona State got 7 TDs from Taylor Kelly to thump Washington State 55-21 in the Palouse. Tonight, it is USC and Oregon State in Corvallis. USC has lost to Oregon State on its last three trips to Corvallis (2006, 2008, 2010). And tonight, the Trojans (5-3, 2-2 Pac-12) are the underdog against the Beavers (6-2, 4-1 Pac-12), who are coming off their first Pac-12 loss of the season last Saturday.

This is your open thread. If you're watching, talk about it here. Talk about Southern at Texas Southern, too, if you're watching that.
