In what is arguably the biggest match of program history (and hopefully first of many big matches this season), No.1 Cal Men's Soccer will host No.3 Washington in a matchup of two undefeated teams. Both squads took care of business prior to today's epic matchup on the Pac-12 Networks with the Bears downing Oregon State 3-1 and the Huskies beating Furd by the same score earlier this week.
Game Info:
Sunday, Oct. 6

Goldman Field/Edwards Stadium - Berkeley
Series Record vs. Washington: 17-24-8
Last Time vs. Washington: T, 1-1, 2 OTs, 10/19/12 in Berkeley
Coverage: Pac-12 Networks, Live Stats, Twitter
Bears have been a perfect 6-0 at home so far this year, including wins over then 3rd and 2nd ranked Georgetown and Marlyand teams early in the year. What does make today's match bigger is the difference now that the Bears are the hunted squad rather than the underdog. It is also a conference match as well.
Huskies are 3-0-1 on the road this year.
