Chris Adcock out for the season with knee injury

Cal announced at 12:20pm that Chris Adcock is out for the season with a knee injury. Mark Brazinski will start today's game vs. WSU in his place.

Brazinski was seen taking pregame snaps with Jared Goff, and is the number two center on the depth chart, so expect to see him start at center in place of Adcock.

Bill Tyndall will back up Brazinski at center.  Matt Cochran is still out due to an ankle injury and would be a candidate for the center position when he returns.

Full statement from Cal Media Relations:

Junior offensive lineman Chris Adcock will miss the remainder of the 2013 campaign after injuring his knee in practice on Wednesday.
