There will be no complaining of late starts these final two weeks at home. Cal will play Arizona at 12:30 PM, and today it was announced that Cal finishes their home season with USC at noon.
Regardless of the time, these will probably be two miserably-attended games. Cal is out of bowl contention and will begin looking ahead toward next season. Arizona isn't exactly known for its travelling football fanbase, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of red this week. And neither Trojan nor Golden Bear fans are all that enthused about their football teams, although I'm sure that damned band will make enough noise for everyone else to hear.
But if you want a great bargain to watch your Bears play the final two weeks, it shouldn't be too hard to find what you're looking for.
At least Cal appears to be done with late night games for the near future. Although don't discount the possibility of Larry Scott moving the Cal-Colorado game to Shanghai and issuing a 3 a.m. kickoff.
