Jalen Harvey, a three-star wide receiver out of El Cerrito, announced on Twitter today that he has decommitted from Cal.

Harvey is ranked 220 in the ESPN300 and Rivals' 66th best receiver. Scout reports Arizona State as Harvey's current favorite.

Update: Harvey revealed the reasoning behind the decommitment to be unrelated to our win-loss record. (Thanks to BandAlum for directing me to this news.)

Hopefully he keeps working away at it. We can't really blame the coaches for instituting these standards and finding the right players who fit Cal.
