Heading into Sunday's big home showdown against No.2 UCLA, who has defeated Furd earlier this week, the Bears need to match the Bruins with a victory today against the underperforming USC team.

The Trojans are in the midst of a 4 game losing streak where they have been blanked in conference play (1-0 losses to Washington and Arizona State, 2-0 loss to Washington State). Looking to continue the Trojan's Pac-12 scoreless streak will be Cal senior goalie Emily Kruger. Kruger is spotlighted in this week's Cal Olympic Sports video below, highlighting the peace and conflict major's work with One World and her summer experience in Ghana:

On the field, Kruger has allowed just 0.71 goals per match with 4 shutout wins.

Offensively, the Bears are led by the 18 points (8 goals, 2 assists) of striker Ifeoma Onumonu. A successful last week has catapulted senior Kaitlyn Fitzpatrick into second place on the team with 16 points (6 goals, 4 assists). Also with more than 10 points are Sam Witteman (6 goals and 3 assists for 15 points) and Rachel Mercik (4 goals, 2 assists). Three other Bears have tallied a goal this year.

The Trojans squad opened the year with a flurry of goals, before the recent dry-spell. Their offensive leader is Elizabeth Eddy with 5 goals. Their keeper Caroline Stanley has allowed 0.99 goals per match.

GOAL ON YOU BEARS!
