Cal Men's Soccer (4-2-1) hosts LMU (2-4) in another Pac-12 Network showcase for the Bears. On Friday night, Cal hammered Duquesne by the score of 4-1 with goals from Stefano Bonomo (2), Kyle Lunt, and Tony Salciccia. LMU, on the other hand, stunned Stanford by a score 2-1 in OT also on Friday. Can the Bears stop the LMU momentum from that unexpected road victory?
Despite the negative news about the dismissal of 5 players on the Men's Water Polo team a week+ ago (including starting goalie and team captain, Justin Parsons and sophomore attacker Max Bergeson), the Bears still only lost two very close matches to UCLA and Stanford. They get the chance to again demonstrate possible addition by subtraction when they face USC, current 4 time defending NCAA champions.
