Okay, it's long overdue for Cal to win any kind of game (after 2 Field Hockey, 1 Women Soccer, and then yesterday) on the spanking new Pac-12 Networks. Sure, the odds are kind of stacked in that only games vs. quality opponents were picked to be on the Pac-12 Networks, but these have also been Cal home games.
Today, No. 17 Cal Women Soccer (3-2) will host the unranked San Francisco Dons (2-1-2). Maybe this will be the beginning of a long Cal on Pac-12 Networks winning streak.
In today's "Know Your Cal Bears", we have Red Shirt Sophomore Grace Leer. The Pac-12 Network went out of their way to show the national anthem in the last Cal Women's Soccer game and it was an interesting and jazzed-up version by Grace Leer. Apparently, Grace has a lot of experience singing in front of people, including this following clip from National TV (American Junior quite a few years ago...the fact that I vaguely remembered this show made me feel quite old).
Not unexpected, our Cal student-athletes are multi-talented.
After the jump, we have the rest of Cal action for today, including link to view the Cal Volleyball match @ Hawaii at 8 PM PT.
