London 2012 Olympic Games: Primetime Open Thread (August 6th)

5 Calympians were in action today, and I would figure that US Women Soccer star Alex Morgan will find her way into the primetime coverage tonight by NBC.

Here is the official description:

Spend a day at the track with Host Bob Costas as he takes fans from the men’s 400 hurdles final and women’s steeplechase final to the much-anticipated men’s 400m final where there won't be an American competing after sweeping the event in Beijing. Grenada’s Kirani James will have a shot at earning his country's first Olympic medal. Gabby Douglas flies in the uneven bars event final to add another medal to her two golds. Jake Gibb and Sean Rosenthal compete in the men’s beach volleyball quarterfinals and the men’s 3m springboard diving prelims begin.
